Get your creativity flowing in our fun, hands-on ceramics class! Perfect for all skill levels. We’ll dive into the art of hand-building: think pinch pots, coil creations, and slab sculptures – while bringing your ideas to life. Plus, you’ll have access to our kiln to fire up your masterpieces and make them truly shine! The cost includes all materials and is a drop-off class. Review our FAQs for additional information. Please be aware that sharp tools will be used during the course of this class, and you understand the risks involved with your artist using such instruments.
**A special note about attendance: Unlike other classes, such as our core classes, it is extremely important to attend every ceramics class, as each class builds toward creating a proper finished piece. The scheduled dates for the kiln firings [the first for greenware (dried, unfired clay), the second after glazing] are set, and will take place regardless of the artist’s readiness of a piece. There is a week of NO CLASS to ensure adequate time for drying and firing. Because it is our goal to provide every opportunity for the artist to create a piece of which they are proud, we strongly encourage regular attendance and that you understand the schedule for each class. Session A: Bobblehead. Artists create personalized ceramic bobblehead sculptures while learning character design and interactive clay construction, sculpting expressive features, textures, and creative details that bring their bobblehead figure to life.
Session B: Garden House Sculpture. Artists design and build their own whimsical ceramic garden home (think fairy, gnome or sprite) inspired by imagination and nature, while sculpting charming details like textured rooftops, tiny doors, mushrooms, flowers, and magical accents.
Session C: Clay Sea Creature. This project invites artists to explore the wonders of ocean life through an imaginative ceramic sculpture. Artists create unique sea inspired sculptures such as octopuses, sea turtles, sharks, crabs, and fantasy ocean creatures.
Finished piece pickup will occur during designated times, typically on regularly scheduled class day, one week following last class of that session.
*Must purchase Session A, Session B, and Session C of the exact same class at the same time to receive discount. You will have to add each session to your cart individually. Discount will apply automatically. Offer expires 8/17/26. No discount if you buy one session and decide later to purchase additional sessions. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: Before you register for classes, please be aware that a full refund will no longer be issued. If you cancel more than one month before classes begin you will receive a refund minus a $20.00 materials/admin fee per session. Cancellations between one month to two weeks before classes begin will receive a 50% refund. There will be NO refund issued within two weeks of class start date. If you join a session already in progress, there will be no refund. Switching classes at any time will incur a $20.00 admin fee, and your spot in the new class will not be guaranteed until payment has been received. Contact the studio for switching instructions.
