Lauren began her formal visual art studies at The Corcoran School of Art in her hometown, Washington, DC. She graduated from Colgate University in New York with a BA in Art and Art History with a concentration in Studio Art. Lauren earned her Florida Professional Educator’s License with certification in Visual Arts K-12 in 2007 and founded Amelia Art Studio in 2016.

Stephanie’s education is in the arts with an emphasis on graphic design and illustration. As a career Navy spouse, she has volunteered in classrooms and school libraries throughout the country as an aide and mentor, and has served in leadership positions in both the Boy and Girl Scouts. She has been with Amelia Art Studio since 2018. Time outside the Studio is spent gardening, beachcombing, woodworking, reading, puzzling, and collecting Pokémon.

Heidi is a multidisciplinary artist and has been with Amelia Art Studio since 2022. She graduated from Flagler College with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts and an illustration minor. When she isn’t pursuing all things artistic, she’s out scouring the beach for fossils, walking or biking the neighborhood, and spending time with family.

Andrea has been with Amelia Art Studio since 2019. She earned her BA in Studio Art at the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado, and studied sculptural painting at the Anderson Art Center in Aspen. As a painter, her works are often quiet observations from an outside perspective, whether the piece is small or a mural. She has also worked as an art educator at Amelia Island Montessori School.

River joined Amelia Art Studio as an assistant in 2022 and has been integral in helping our shy younger artists blossom ever since. Though River is a valuable member of the team, he can be a little mischievous at times, requiring an occasional reminder of the Studio rules.
